The Joint Stock Company “Latvijas Gāze” and the Latvian branch of "OP Corporate Bank plc" have agreed upon an early termination of the credit line (overdraft) contract signed on September 22, 2017.
Latvijas Gāze joins the ranking of the TOP 500 largest companies in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) created by the international credit risk insurer “Coface”, and it takes 480th position.
On November 1, 2022, the Board of the Latvijas Gāze will be joined by Egils Lapsalis who is set to oversee the matters of trading at the company. E. Lapsalis has almost 25 years of practical experience in the energy sector, the organisation of natural gas trading, including the management of sales and business process projects.

Compensations will be applied for the period from July 1, 2022 to April 30, 2023. Households do not need to apply for state aid; the reduced fee will be included in the billing documents automatically in accordance with the amount determined by the state.
The JSC “Latvijas Gāze” hereby announces that the natural gas quantity owned by the JSC “Latvijas Gāze” in the Inčukalns Underground Gas Storage Facility as at end of the gas day of August 31, 2022 is 0,2946 TWh.
