At the beginning of 2020 Latvijas Gāze began trading natural gas to companies in Finland. For the convenience of Finnish customers, a new website has been created to provide simple and accessible information on current offers.
On 29 June this year, a conference organised by Dienas Bizness took place, where companies from the energy industry and specialists talked about the challenges of the industry in achieving the goals of the European Climate Plan and the competitiveness and stability of the energy sector.
The Gaso service tariff is intended for a regulation period of 4.5 years (from 1 July 2021 to 31 December 2025).
The changes are related to both the increase in the natural gas prices in the global markets and the amendments to the service tariff of distribution system operator Gaso (hereinafter – Gaso), which was approved by the Public Utilities Commission (hereinafter – PUC) on 30 April this year.
At the Baltic Gas Market Forum, happening within the framework of the Baltic Energy Forum on June 2 of this year, the participants of the regional gas market discussed the current issues and challenges of the natural gas market.
