Customer question: the calorific value of natural gas is indicated on the natural gas invoice. What does it mean and why does it vary from month to month?
On 6 September, Latvijas Gāze participated in the Dienas Bizness conference “Heat Supply and Energy Technologies 2023”. The conference brought together experts from the energy sector to find answers to questions about the availability and price of heat supply services in the upcoming heating season, moments before the start of the new heating season.
With the opening of the natural gas market, Latvijas Gāze household customers will be able to pay for natural gas at a 24% to 37% lower price compared to the current regulated natural gas tariff and on customer-friendly terms.
With the full opening of the natural gas market, we will continue to provide our customers with an uninterrupted supply of natural gas, without contract renewal and already at market price, under the UNIVERSAL service, designed in accordance with the new Cabinet Regulation No. 78 that was adopted on 4 April.
According to the amendments to the Energy Law, the natural gas market will be fully open to households from 1 May 2023.
Latvijas Gāze is ranked 20th in the Top 101 of Latvia’s Most Valuable Enterprises, jointly developed by Prudentia, the leading Baltic corporate finance company, and Nasdaq Riga, the only regulated stock exchange in Latvia, and this year it is recognised as the second most valuable company in the energy sector in Latvia.
