The fraudsters claim that it is necessary to replace the natural gas meter and urge customers to submit applications or provide personal information.
Please note:
- AS Latvijas Gāze does not perform meter replacements and does not manage the natural gas infrastructure.
- All technical matters, including maintenance and replacement of gas meters, are handled by AS GASO.
IMPORTANT! AS Latvijas Gāze never asks customers to provide financial information by phone – such as bank card numbers, internet banking access data, or passwords.
We urge you to stay alert and cautious!
If you have doubts about the authenticity of a received call, email, or text message, end the conversation immediately and do not disclose any personal or payment information.
