Consumption of natural gas is recorded in both m3 and kWh
Natural gas consumption and meter readings are reported in m3,
but in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 78 Regulations Regarding the Trade and Use of Natural Gas, for the purposes of the system user's settlement of payments, kilowatt-hours (kWh) are used.
The meters count natural gas consumed in m³, and the conversion factor per kWh is the gross calorific value. The calorific value is a variable that is divided into zones and months.
The zone of the calorific value shall be determined by the distribution system operator Gaso, taking into account the administrative areas in which the natural gas plants belonging to each zone are located. The order of the calorific zones can be found on the Gaso website.
You can find out the calorific area of the property in the client portal.
