Conexus Baltic Grid Transmission Tariff from 1 October 2025

As of 1 October 2025, the Public Utilities Commission–approved transmission tariff of Conexus Baltic Grid will take effect — 0.0032051 EUR/kWh.

The change in the tariff will be reflected in natural gas consumption bills during the next billing period (in bills received in November 2025).
The transmission service is a state-regulated cost component included in the total payment for natural gas.

The tariff changes stipulate that the natural gas transmission tariff will increase from the previous 0.0026488 EUR/kWh to 0.0032051 EUR/kWh, representing an increase of 0.0005563 EUR/kWh.
For example, a household consuming an average of 2500 kWh per month during the heating season will see its transmission payment rise by approximately 1.41 EUR (excluding VAT) per month.
For small users who use natural gas only for cooking (about 100 kWh per month), the impact of the change will be around 0.06 EUR (excluding VAT) per month.

Conexus Baltic Grid transmission services account for only a part of the total natural gas payment.
For households, the total natural gas payment consists of five components:
– the price of natural gas, influenced by global market fluctuations,
– the transmission service fee,
– the distribution operator’s service fee,
– and excise duty and value added tax (VAT), both regulated by the state.
