JSC “Latvijas Gāze” statement on a gas supply plan for captive consumers

Despite the current insufficiency of natural gas in the Inčukalns Underground Gas Storage Facility and limited options of gas supply, the JSC “Latvijas Gāze” as the Public trader and a socially responsible commercial enterprise continues working on solutions for ensuring gas supply to captive consumers in the 2022/2023 heating season.

To that end, the JSC “Latvijas Gāze” has developed proposals and a gas supply plan and intends to submit it soon to the Ministry of Economics and the Public Utilities Commission.

Furthermore, pursuant to what was resolved at the JSC “Latvijas Gāze” Council meeting on July 14, the JSC “Latvijas Gāze” continues working on scenarios of the further management of the JSC “Gaso” owned by the Company to meet the requirements of the National Security Law.
