In accordance with the policy of public support, Latvijas Gāze donates financial resources to sports, cultural and other projects of importance to society.
In 2023, we have chosen the sports sector as a priority area and believe that it will not only bring success to athletes but also inspire our nation.
SPORT
EUR 1 145 000 for the development of sport in Latvia, promoting the development of hockey, ice sports, basketball, tennis, auto racing, handball, volleyball, bobsleigh/skeleton, cycling, chess, biathlon, pétanque and motorsport in Latvia.
CULTURE
EUR 195 000 to support the organisation of concerts by Latvian artists, the staging of theatre productions, the improvement of important memorial sites in Latvia and the development of municipalities.
EUR 60 000 to support various associations and foundations.
UKRAINE
EUR 100 000 in humanitarian aid for Ukrainian civilians in Latvia.
