Latvijas Gāze is included at the Gold level of SRS In-depth Cooperation Programme

As of 1st of January 2022, Latvijas Gāze has been included at the GOLD level of the In-depth Cooperation Programme.

The In-depth Cooperation Programme is a new form of cooperation with taxpayers implemented by the State Revenue Service (SRS), where companies that meet the criteria are selected for inclusion and grouping at three levels - Bronze, Silver, Gold.

The Programme includes 4872 companies at the Bronze level, 298 companies at the Silver level and only 78 companies at the Gold level. Inclusion in the Gold level is determined by a number of criteria, the most important of which are: timely submission of reports and declarations, tax revenue of at least EUR 700,000, net turnover of at least EUR 4,000,000, income of employees above the state average and developed and implemented tax risk management. In order for a company to be included in the In-Depth Cooperation Programme (at all levels), its business operations must be transparent, prudent and fair - free of tax debts, violations, insolvency proceedings, etc.

In 2021, Latvijas Gāze paid 63.8 million euros to the state budget, most of which was value added tax (VAT) and excise tax, in 2020 - 28.2 million euros, but a year earlier in 2019 - 65.7 million euros. Mandatory social security contributions for employees in 2021 amounted to 1.3 million euros.
