Latvijas Gāze is the first company in Latvia, which published the Annual Report in 2021 in accordance with the new ESEF requirements. On 25 November, at the Nasdaq Riga seminar ‘Insider lists and ESEF requirements’, our Accounting Officer Olga Bobrova shared hands-on experience with iXBRL reporting.
Latvijas Gāze has introduced and implements an environmental management system, thus confirming the company's high standards, the purposeful reduction of its impact on the environment, and responsible management. The company has received the internationally recognised ISO 14001 certificate, which confirms that the environmental management of Latvijas Gāze complies with the international standards and best practices.
On 9 November 2021, the 13th Baltic Gas Market Forum, where participants talked about regional infrastructure development projects such as GIPL and ELLI, and shared information regarding the latest developments in the Baltic and Finnish natural gas markets.
On 29 September 2021, Latvijas Gāze participated in the conference ‘HEAT SUPPLY 2021: Purposeful Achievement of Climate Objectives in Latvian Towns’ (orig. – SILTUMAPGĀDE 2021: mērķtiecīgai klimata mērķu sasniegšanai Latvijas pilsētās) organised by Dienas Bizness, in which the global conditions affecting the natural gas market and price changes both globally and locally were discussed.
The Gaso service tariff is intended for a regulation period of 4.5 years (from 1 July 2021 to 31 December 2025).
The changes are related to both the increase in the natural gas prices in the global markets and the amendments to the service tariff of distribution system operator Gaso (hereinafter – Gaso), which was approved by the Public Utilities Commission (hereinafter – PUC) on 30 April this year.
