After the end of the calendar year, the distribution system operator Gaso recalculates the tariffs for the previous year.
At the 19 December 2023 meeting of the Council of the Public Utilities Commission, changes to the tariffs of Gaso for the tariff period from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024 were approved. The new tariffs for the distribution system service will be visible in the bills in February 2024 for natural gas consumed in January.
In 2023, in the Top 101 of Latvia’s Most Valuable Enterprises, jointly created by financial services company Prudentia and Nasdaq Riga, Latvijas Gāze was recognised as a leader in its sector, taking 2nd place, and was ranked the 16th most valuable enterprise in Latvia, ranking four places higher than in 2022.
The differentiated final tariffs for natural gas remain unchanged; the tariffs published on 9 December remain in effect from 1 January to 30 April. The natural gas tariff table has been updated.
Latvijas Gāze is ranked 20th in the Top 101 of Latvia’s Most Valuable Enterprises, jointly developed by Prudentia, the leading Baltic corporate finance company, and Nasdaq Riga, the only regulated stock exchange in Latvia, and this year it is recognised as the second most valuable company in the energy sector in Latvia.
From 1 January to 30 April 2023, the price of natural gas for households using natural gas for heating will remain the same or even decrease, depending on annual consumption.
