How can I get a natural gas connection in my property?
The establishment of the natural gas connection is provided by the distribution system operator GASO. If you want to install a natural gas connection in your property, please contact GASO.
- If you already have natural gas infrastructure near your property, consult GASO about the application procedure, the necessary documents and the costs of establishing a connection to your property. If there is no gas pipeline near your property, consult GASO about gasification options in the area. GASO plans to gasify residential districts, districts or cities, both by assessing the prospects of the specific area and the requests submitted by residents and companies.
What are the costs of a natural gas connection?
For each new natural gas connection to the gas supply system, the total GASO connection costs musts be covered, which consist of the connection fee and technical costs.

At what point do I have to enter into an agreement with a natural gas trader?
When the internal gas pipeline is installed in the property, the GASO specialist issues a certificate on the quality of the work and a statement on the readiness for operation of the gas pipeline. At this point, you must enter into an agreement with a natural gas trader for the use of natural gas.
We invite you to enter into a natural gas trade agreement. Latvijas Gāze will inform GASO that you are ready to receive the service, and the responsible specialist will contact you to arrange a time for the work to be completed.
Can the installation, reconstruction or load increase/decrease of a natural gas connection be applied for at a natural gas trader?
No, you can apply for the service from the GASO.
What to do if it is necessary to increase the natural gas supply capacity of the boiler or install additional equipment (water heater, natural gas fireplace, stove)?
In order to change the maximum load set in the gasified object, please contact GASO.
No changes need to be made to the natural gas agreement with Latvijas Gāze.
How can I restore the gas supply to the property?
If you have purchased a property that has a natural gas connection, but it is not used, we invite you to enter into a natural gas purchase agreement.
If the supply of natural gas in the property was interrupted and you have an active natural gas trade agreement, please contact GASO.
What to do if you need to temporarily disconnect the gas supply to the property?
The disconnection of the natural gas supply is provided by the distribution system operator GASO (more information here). The most convenient way to apply for disconnection to be performed by GASO is by sending an SMS to the number 155 with the text “ATSL space market number of the object”. You can find the market number of the object in our customer portal or in the GASO customer portal.
We ask you to assess whether the supply of natural gas is necessary, because the renewal of the gas supply is a paid service. More information on costs is available on the website of GASO.
What should I do if I want to disconnect the gas supply to the property altogether?
If you want to terminate the contract because the property will be disconnected from natural gas, please contact GASO on the disconnection of natural gas, and then send us a completed application for termination of the contract to info@lg.lv.
